Welcome
to the web site of the official friends of Princeton Battlefield.
The Battle of Princeton was a pivotal battle fought on January
3, 1777. The Cause of the friends is to enhance the Battlefield
in the following ways:
• Through
improvements to the Clarke House and the surrounding
parklands, which make up only a fraction of the original
battlefield
• To educate the public about the Battle of Princeton through
exciting and scholarly programs and events
• To educate through demonstration about life in 18th century
New Jersey
• To remember and pay homage to those who died in the battle
• To work with other New Jersey Revolutionary War sites
in preserving, restoring and improving those sites as
well as preparing an overall curriculum on the total experience of the War for
Independence.
